Vasil Kisil and Partners Advised on Acquisition of Premises for a School in Kyiv

Vasil Kisil and Partners assisted "OBRII DEVELOPMENT COMPANY" LLC with all legal matters related to acquiring real estate for an educational institution located at Dubyshchanska Street in Kyiv, Ukraine, in the "Italian Quarter" cottage complex, constructed jointly by the seller, Kyivmiskbud, and "DNIPROVSKA RYVIERA" LLC. The purchaser acquired the premises of total area over 1.4 thousand square meters at a price of 52.6 million Ukrainian hryvnias, about USD 1.2 million, through an auction on the Prozorro.Sale electronic trading platform.

The lawyers conducted a limited due diligence of the property and the seller, assisted in negotiations with the seller and the future lessee concerning acquisition and project implementation, advised on all associated legal matters, and drafted contracts and other documents throughout the transaction.

In 2026, following the completion of premises decoration and equipment, an English-speaking school for children of the Sandy School network, founded by Sandy Tarasenko, will open on September 1.
