Expansion of the Management Team at Vasil Kisil & Partners

Vasil Kisil & Partners announces the expansion of its management team. Ilarion Tomarov became a Partner, while Artem Shmatov – a Counsel in the firm.

Ilarion Tomarov has been with Vasil Kisil & Partners since 2017 and heads the firm’s Intellectual Property practice. He specialises in the litigation and enforcement of intellectual property rights, recovery of damages, combating parallel imports, advising IT companies, supporting e-commerce projects, protection of intellectual property assets, and legal aspects of data use for machine learning.

Ilarion Tomarov is recognised as a leading practitioner in intellectual property law by Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, World Trademark Review 1000, and IP Stars.

Artem Shmatov joined Vasil Kisil & Partners in 2017, beginning his career with the firm as a junior associate in the Corporate and M&A practice. 

He advises on a broad range of corporate matters and has substantial experience in M&A and shareholder transactions, investments, complex corporate restructurings, as well as corporate governance and taxation projects.
